    I remember seeing all these amazing desktop screenshots and wondering how these people were so skilled that they could get their computer to look so nice, thinking it must be really hard. I got pretty stressed and confused when seeing things like VS, Explorer Frames, and all these programs being used.  So I wanted to make this post as a kind of walk through of programs I've seen used in customizing, to take a little of the confusion out :) 1)  Windows Theme Installer  this takes care of all the patching needed to be able to use unofficial themes & it will apply the theme, explorer frames, and other stuff for you.
